I love the stories of Mama Llama and her child, going to the grocery store, running errands, just a normal familial situation. What they fail to showcase is the llama's amazing ability to spit...with a fabulous talent, such as this, where is this missing storyline?
Our sweet angel has learned to spit. It started with an innocent "Pffffff", rolled into a medley of "Pfffff" "Pffff" "Pffff" and has progressed to an attack of said llama, ie Sloane. On Christmas Day, I was trying to get Sloane to talk to me and she sprayed a lovely array of spit all over my face. I had forgotten about the incident until later on in the day when my sister asked Jocelyn what her favorite part of Christmas was. Her answer? "When Sloane spit all over Aunt Jen's face." Super proud moment...
We were at a baby shower, last weekend, and Sloane was trying to chat it up with the ladies. We heard a couple of sighs, a couple of screeches, then "hactowie". My baby launched a spit bubble at an unsuspecting woman. I could tell she definitely felt the prize as she looked around, bemused that a baby was her attacker. Sloane must have been impressed with the woman's reaction and continued to shower the shower guests.
Tonight, the onslaught continued. We aren't sure if the baby has a cold or is getting ready to finally produce a tooth; either which way, she was not feeling well. In the midst of her fussing, she covered her parents in spit.
She needs to come with a warning label - CAUTION: SOAK ZONE.
