I love a good sense of humor and find it amazing how many people don't have one. Our friend, Michelle, had just returned back to work after maternity leave when a coworker asked where the baby was. Her quick response, "She's in the car...but don't worry, I cracked a window for her". Michelle had to stop the coworker from running out to the parking lot. =)
When asked how Sloane has such long eyelashes, I responded, "Latisse". The woman told me that it certainly wasn't meant for babies. Uh, hello?! There is NO way I would put anything on my baby without verifying it was meant for babies and super safe!!!
We had Sloane's first trip to the emergency room on Sunday. She has had some icky diapers and when she had some blood within her stool, I called her pediatrician. The nurse on call told me to watch for different symptoms, but as long as nothing contiunued, Sloane would be okay. Within a few minutes, Sloane started to projectile vomit. Kings X - we were off to ER. Our baby has been hanging on to her burps, so once they get to her colon, she has been trying to force them out and the pressure has caused her bum to bleed.
The doctors have recommended that I limit my intake of fiber to help alleviate her gas. I gave up caffeine, beans, broccoli, Kashi, and all foods that contain mass amounts of fiber... Is there really a question about putting something dangerous on my baby???
She does look like a model for an eyelash growth treatment, huh?
