CALIFORNIA, baby!!!

When my sister, Lara, and her girls went to Northern California to visit with my aunt and cousins, my other sister, Nicole, and I were extremely jealous!  We adore our cousins and for them to have babies that we haven't met is simply sad.  Well, Nicole went on maternity leave for three months and I was able to successfully convince her to follow in Lara's steps.

We drove to LA to see a play, visit with my girlfriend Jen, and play in Hollywood.

After two nights, we headed up to San Louis Obispo to see our cousin Darcy, her husband Mike and newest addition, Selby Colette.

Two days later, the Hovde girls were on the road to Half Moon Bay to stay with Aunt Nancy and Uncle Lance, as well as visit with cousin Becca, her husband Dave, and adorable kiddos:  Tessa and Addison.

I got to visit my girlfriend, Danika and her hubby Chris, in the city one night.

We headed to Pier 39 for the girls to see the sea lions and enjoy the Wharf, before heading down to San Jose to see my girlfriend, Daniela, her husband Manish, and their girls Nell and Kaya.

We racked up 1791 miles over a 10-day road trip with two moms, a 4 1/2 year old, a 14 month-old and a 6 week-old baby girl.  My advice?  Don't be as overzealous next time =)
